There's nothing like a good frock; here are a few examples from my wardrobe.

The brown number at left was purchased in Belgrade in December 2002; it has a nice matching jacket that I've casually slung over my shoulder. I'm not sure what the facial expression is about, but that's what you get with party action shots.

When my sister pulled the yellow and black floral frock on the right off the rack in Frangipani (Dunedin's fantastic but sadly gone vintage clothing shop), my first thought was that the colours were completely wrong for me; but it was me that was wrong.

The maroon ball gown below was bought in Wellington around 1995 and is still one of my favourites.
