PERFORMING SPACE
In collaboration with: Jadranka Andjelic, theatre director, DAH Theatre Research Centre, Serbia & Montenegro. The workshop's aim is to explore the creative process between scenographer, performers and director in contemporary theatre.

The workshop explores the interaction between the space and the performers. This workshop will focus on process of the work between scenographer, actors and director by reconstructing the working situation on the performance in the contemporary theatre.

Antonella Diana and Jadranka Andjelić have worked together since 1995, in the performances of DAH Theatre, Serbia, (1995-1997) and Theatre OM, Denmark, (1997-2002).



FLAGS FOR PEACE

The painting workshop aim is to create flags and banners that investigate the theme of peace. Over several days, the participants will be encouraged to compose with lines, forms, colours and symbols a large painting on a thin canvas expressing a personal statement for peace. At the end of the workshop the realized flags and banners will be carried in a parade on the streets.

This seminar has especially been created for situations where the social tensions and/or politics weigh heavily on young people. The objective is to use the artistic language to learn to express concepts, ideas and to manifest it in an artistic form as playful parade.

MASK–MAKING

Paper-layers Technique, and mix materials on metal net. This technique is especially suitable to create Œhat-masks‚ or large puppets. The flexibility and lightness of the metal net offers a good base for the layers of the paper and the mixed material. This course is suitable for educators, scenographers, and visual artists but it is not necessary to have an art education background.

The technique of paper-layers on plaster cast made in clay or gips (plaster). This technique is especially good for dance or theatre performance masks that have to adhere to the face of the performers. The course proposition is the use of natural materials and non-toxic colours.

MURAL PAINTING

Iitinerary and realization of a mural painting (on outside or inside wall).

Mural painting is an artistic form that offers a great prospect to communicate with the environment and architecture as an organism. The story of mural painting goes back to the origins of humans and tells us about early beliefs and daily life.

Mural Painting

This artistic expression has immediate impact with spatial problems and contextual problems inside and outside both private and public buildings.
