scenography

I work in stage and costume design with the goal to create a real environment for the performance, rather than reproducing reality. I began to work in theatre as theatre feeds my interest for combining different artistic disciplines. My work has been mainly with research-based theatre groups and I deal with the constant need for self-sufficiency of the company in setting up, transportability and limited budget.

I design and realise most of the set and costumes for the theatre companies I work with. I work with wood, iron, electricity and different materials as required.
